Gradual but steady

I have this stage of the holidays where, despite the fact that my last relatively easy I, not everything that I wanted to do get done before Christmas, and I just have done things happen, is reached where you can compared to many others with enormous families, come the fact. Some of the cookies will post Christmas cookies. I'll finish the Lord of the rings may re-viewing on Boxing Day. I am getting on a plane tomorrow and be right there some nice key knitting time.

My grandfather travel socks only knitted gift, this is a real on my list, need and are probably the only one to be I, will be working days for the next. I started it yesterday (yeah, I'm Ahahaha a bit behind) between stirring the pot of caramel I had go attempting caramel marshmallows to make. (You know, because I somehow half the simple sugar recipe burned cookie but managed to caramel marshmallows just fine make?) (Yes, I know not either.) Needless to say, afternoon took basically all yesterday, but they are delicious. And a few small bags you will be talented, which is extra awesome.

I also so close in completion to my Elizabeth Zimmerman yoked sweater, the rental was have spend time on it this week in the scant few days that I am at the homestead in Hamilton, because there is a sewing machine and I have me by (my parents are living abroad this year in Australia, and my sister and I wear related in Edmonton for Christmas celebrate), which means I get to do, make things like caramels and when I ask Steeks, cutting now stuffed. (Und_ich_bin_wirklich_freuen_uns_auf_a) with a new winter sweater to wear as well as (b)) finally had completed of one of the current projects I have for a few months and will be able to move on to a new sweater or something else according to my whims stay.

I took save it back a week or after it neglect two years for a bit and it's just in the last days with the addition of fair Isle pattern interesting become, on the yoke. It has been the type of project, I see that not much of on the blog because it essentially amounted to a sequence of photos more Brown Stockinette knitting would have. But then, suddenly, poof, color work part came and I was worn to done. Button band and neckband are just go to basic ribbing, to be, which means the residential edge will be visible on the wrong side of the work (compared to a gefaltet-Over facing), so I chose to do a simple stitched reinforcement. I have a stitching line of stitches down each side of the center of steek…

cut... and exactly in the middle.

And that was. And done. I say Steeking is never old. And because this sweater is at once worked in the round all I have now is the particular lens pattern for the button band a few end to sew, and I'm done. It is of course, the little thing I forgot requiring that I sew buttons on the button band. But I am sure, that only a small question, right? Materialize buttons will somehow magically? Um…maybe? I'll be looking. And be sure that report back if it is done all for good.

Which stage the not livecams and knitting, madness, or both, you may be the right now, I wish you the best this week. And I'll all toast if I drink with my knitting later on tonight. And tomorrow. And probably Christmas and next day.

Happy knitting!
