Know what you are saying - best laid plans and all! Again, I'm working on something in my November plans. Was in my defense, my black knit back ordered and canceled and I'm waiting for my cord (UPS says it is "Out for delivery") that is in my experience, it will not turn tonight… til 7 pm I think we must be the last stop on the UPS guy's route.
This is a kind of matte Charmeuse satin, polyester, of course, but I want to test this dress in a cost-effective fabric before in silk:
This is a Cynthia Steffe design looks the winter vogue Muster.Es not too complicated but I want to see how looks back on me. I can throw it at the end, but I'm not sure yet.
Butterick published your winter patterns this week. Because you are back as I mentioned yesterday in my favor, I'm glad more for "Clothes need to sew". Here are my picks:
I like both these Maggy London clothes. Traffic safety on the Ponte dress (on right) are really interesting. Love the full skirt and high waist of the second dress!
New retro patterns! The dress on the left is a large full bypass holiday dress (calls for Shantung, Taft etc …i think it in silk taffeta!)I would shorten the rock. The dress on the right side it very nice, but I would lower that front neck, the back to spiegeln.Haben it up on the website made, and it is one of vintage styles where the neckline looks oddly proportioned (too high for a square neck) to modern eyes.I not good at this kind of neck, it must be only one or two inches deep.
Finally, I like these two line pattern that I would between tunic and dress cut length and wear with leggings (I find that if you are a little pear shaped you need longer to tunics so you you cut your widest part not.)And check out this rock - very anthropology E Yes? I love traffic safety but I wish, had made it up so I could see it!
(I like the other new Ponte dress (Colorblocked for a slimming effect)), and there is a cute jacket (although not my favorite... and I economy jackets like.)Overall, it's a very strong collection and I will be picking this up when you go on sale.
Today I am a dinner with my in-laws (MIL is in town for a Conference) and getting my hair dyed (finally!)Hopefully I can sew in some fit!
