11-16-2010: to banish the demons

I woke up in a bad mood this morning, the decision last night that Cynthia Steffe pattern my muslin for the vogue not going to work.  It has eight(!) Sew inset corners in the Corsair Corsair feed, and I really hate those.  Thus was not great, but what really did the massive size of the sleeves - was even plissé asks how were the pattern a little overwhelming for my frame.  So I put it away (I'm planning to salvage the rock part once I some great get elastic for a bunch).  I'll start my string shirt dress instead.

To cheer me up I finished a few refashions from my pile (I Yes, change a backlog of things, to save the economy!)Here is the first:

Dress:Tokyo, thrifted

Scarf:Merona (current season)

Tights:Betsey Johnson

   Boots:UniSA

So it was dark and I had today, click rainy photos on the back terrace (which, if you'll notice falling caught is to remember, on this corner stand!)

This dress was thrifted back when I lived in Bloomington, such as eight years vor.Es is a thin T-shirt material out and has all the style of a bag potatoes, ernst.Es used to a sad little self have belt, but that has been long lost. For years, this was my dress funeral.Seeing part of my old job requires an average of a funeral week join me and this was safe and einfach.Ich almost got rid of it my last closet to clean (as thank God I don't have a crazy number of depressing funerals, participate) but I kept it, thought it might be worth a record fashion.

I cut 4 and a half inch way and has a Wavylettuce edge that paired hem Serger.Dann begins with a belt and some colorful accessories, the dress, some his funeral connotations!

Other thoughts:

I paid actually full price for these Schal.Wie I couldn't? it's Leopard print and one of my favorite colors!

I'm experimenting with colored Strumpfhosen.Ich likes the look with boots because it gives color without overwhelming.

Do I need to make some black clothes - you work as well as background, but are so boring to sew!
