A new jumper: Simplicity 2848

Pattern: Simplicity 2848(folded jumper)

Website:Sophia Doubleknit from fabric.com, 2 meters

Above: really, really old... and for some reason, my husband favorite me's!

Notes:  I have been entering my entire pattern collection in EverNote, and while going through my box simplicity pattern came I on this Jumper.Ich must it bought when I first started, and then, put after I realized that the straight version (I dont care for the front slot or the odd bags.) at all this time I noticed the other photographed jumper - doesn't appeal to me and suddenly I knew what with my gray to make knit Sophia!  Admittedly, I showed a definite lack of originality, because I used the same fabric and color in the photo, but that's ok.

The pieces for this jumper are almost completely different than the other versions - share only the yoke pieces.  I was a little afraid, the fact that a 41? bust alleged finished measurements, but I thought the folds would eat and I was right.I have a size 6 in the yoke and bust, a few changes I transition to an 8 on the hips vorgenommen.zuerst of all, no zipper because I knit a.I faced the feed in a self-service website.  This worked fine, but if I make again I would use a different treatment, panels you are rather thick armholes for that!  I dress 3 inches shorter and I'm not short so that it seems to run a bit longer than the photos show would.

This is the first of two clothes I made fabric last another of this (the teal is!)I'll show you in a few days.It was very nice to work with and it is very soft and pretty easy for a Doubleknit.I would recommend it highly. You can find many places, look for the label "Sophia knit."I am really happy that I see Doubleknit and Ponte everywhere this season clothes I love working with the material, and I feel like I'm in style (and frankly, the price of a simple, unlined Ponte dress me shocked!)

This pattern is also strongly recommended though I confess that I do not use springen.Habe directions much, even for a project runway model, so it bothers. I am not sure how this would work in a woven not, but it is a versatile piece is perfect for Doubleknit.Es you (or at least I will scare once it up some more tops, working on it!)
